Nanaimo Farmers’ Market – Island Roots is Nanaimo’s Only Year-Round Farmers’ Market operating every Wednesday from 3:00pm-6:00pm in Beban Park. The 2026 Summer Market runs beside the Centennial Building from May 13th, 2026 to October 14th, 2026.
Island Roots hosts a wide variety of farmers, producers, and artisans local to Vancouver Island. To stay up to date with which vendors will be in attendance each week sign up for our newsletter below and connect with us on social media!
Both the Summer and Winter markets operate within Beban Park beside Frank Crane Arena. Parking is available in front of the arena as well as around the Centennial Building. Bus routes #30, #40, #50, and #25 all have stops surrounding the park. Bicycles are welcomed and encouraged!
